The calculation of carbonization time for carbonization furnace needs to be combined with equipment type, raw material characteristics, and process stage, as follows:
Traditional intermittent carbonization furnace (refer to existing information):
Drying stage: temperature 100-200 ℃, taking 2-3 hours (high humidity of raw materials may prolong).
Pyrolysis stage: temperature of 200-400 ℃, taking 2-4 hours to remove residual moisture.
Complete carbonization stage: temperature of 400-500 ℃, takes 2-4 hours, and the flue gas turns pale and white to complete.
Cooling stage: Natural cooling takes 5-6 hours (seal the smoke outlet to ensure quality).
Total cycle: about 12-18 hours per furnace for small production furnaces; Production of over 1 ton takes 30-36 hours.
Continuous carbonization furnace (refer to existing information):
Supports 24-hour uninterrupted operation, with synchronous feeding and discharging of charcoal, and the carbonization time for a single batch can be shortened to 0.5 hours.
Efficiency improvement but requires coordination with gasifier equipment, relying on the degree of equipment automation.
Key variables:
Raw material humidity: The higher the humidity, the longer the drying/pyrolysis time.
Furnace capacity: Large capacity furnaces have longer cooling times.
Process control: Precise temperature control can shorten the time, but it is necessary to avoid a decrease in carbon quality caused by high fire.
