The usage method of the horizontal carbonization furnace mainly includes the steps of furnace loading, ignition, carbonization, and carbon discharge, and it is necessary to strictly follow the operating specifications to ensure safety and efficiency.
1. Furnace loading requirements
The best raw materials are hardwood such as fruit wood and longan wood. When loading into the furnace, they should be placed in layers according to size to avoid uneven heating caused by the accumulation of large pieces of wood at the bottom. After loading, it is necessary to ensure that the furnace door is tightly sealed to prevent air leakage.
2. Ignition process
Ignite the ignition furnace and turn on the fan for ventilation;
Adding wood heating through the bottom combustion chamber requires continuous salary increase to maintain temperature rise in the initial stage;
When the temperature inside the furnace rises to 250-300 ℃, dehumidification begins, and stable combustion of the fuel needs to be maintained during this stage.
3. Carbonization control
During the dehumidification stage, it is necessary to observe the dehumidification situation of the pipeline and regularly open the bottom valve to discharge wood tar;
After the production of combustible gas, the bottom valve needs to be closed and gas combustion should be used instead for heating;
Before carbonization is completed, it is necessary to maintain stable furnace temperature to avoid safety accidents caused by premature opening of the furnace.
4. Charcoal extraction operation
After carbonization is completed, it is necessary to wait for the temperature to drop below 50 ℃ before opening the furnace door to take charcoal, in order to avoid high-temperature burns or fire hazards.
